Description
VINTAGE c1920s ENGLISH REGIMENT INSIGNIA CARDS WITH EACH REGINMENTS BATTLES FROM WORLD WAR 1 FRAMED CARD SETTHIS IS REALLY A GREAT SET. TOTAL OF 48 CARDS, I DONT KNOW EXACTLY IF IT IS A COMPLETE SET BUT I AM GOING TO BET THAT IT IS. I WOULD DATE THEM TO AROUND THE 1920s OR SO. EACH CARD MEASURES 2 3/8 X 1 3/8 INCHES. THEY LOOK TO BE IN GORGEOUS CONDITION. EACH ONE REPRESENTS A MILITARY REGIMENT WITH THERE SERVICE DURING WORLD WAR 1. JUST A GREAT SET OF CARDS. WHAT IS EVEN BETTER IS THE PRESENTATION. THIS PIECE IS QUADRUPLE MATTED. THE FIRST MATTE IS CUT WITH WINDOWS FOR EACH CARD. THE CARD LOOK TO BE ATTACHED AT THE CORNERS BUT I CANNOT EXACTLY TELL. THE FIRST MATTE HAS BOWED A BIT AWAY FROM THE CARDS IN THE CENTER BUT NOTHING TOO BAD AT ALL. IT SEEMS LIKE IT WOULD BE AN EASY FIX AT ANY FRAMERS. THEN IT HAS 3 MATTES OVER THAT MATTE WITH THE TOP MATEE HAVING A WONDERFUL GOLD STRIP AROUND THE INNER EDGE. JUST A GORGEOUS PRESENTATION. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT THIS COST AT THE FRAMERS. FRAME MEASURES 21 1/4 X 34 1/4 INCHES.
