RARE DOG ART CIGARETTE / TOBACCO / TRADE CARD, COLLECTIBLE, UK. Original 1936 Ogden's Dogs, a Series of 50, Issued by Ogden's, a branch of the Imperial Tobacco Company of Great Britain and Ireland, Ltd., with beautiful full color art paintings of the breed depicted in a landscape. Each card is Very Good Plus condition. Size of the card is 2 11/16" long by 1 7/16" tall. Printed on the reverse side with details of the breed, the series number and breed name. Artwork is outlined with a fine black line and white border, art image is 2 1/2" x 1 1/4". Bright and vibrant artwork on this card!! Ogden's cards such as this are much more difficult to find and acquire than Wills, Gallaher and Player cards of the same era, clearly, far less of these were produced. Three only!!
These are not only great breed collectibles and memorabilia or ephemera, they make great gifts, dog show trophies, presents, and look incredible framed on a desk, mantle or wall!!

Condition Grading (Worldwide!) is typically as follows:
Mint: Almost as good as new; entirely un-blemished.
Excellent: As good as could be expected: cards clean with a minimum of damage, sharp corners and edges.
V. Good: Slight damage only. Corners not creased but may have slightly rounded corners, some light soiling possible especially to end cards.
Good: Some damage or soiling, includes corner damage, damage from adhesive backs, grubby backs.
Fair: Card may be damaged by creases, folds, crack or dirty mark.
Poor: Card with a number of the above faults.
