    Description

This is a gorgeous Scottish Deerhound hair barrett, or hair jewelry for people. It is cast in pewter and finished to resemble antiqued silver. The piece measures about 3 1/8" by 1 1/2" and is rounded. It will come with a stick that goes through the loops on the end. I have long hair that is very thin, so I have to wrap and pin my hair before I can put the piece into place. Any questions, please ask.
Visit my ebay store, CAC Designs to see other jewelry of dogs and more Scottish Deerhound jewelry and artwork, too.... deerhounds can be seen these days at dog shows, lure coursing events, and straight racing.   They make wonderful pets, too.
    I make the
original piece, make the casting mold, cast, finish it to resemble antiqued silver, and sign each piece of jewelry I create. I am a dog artist            ( Cindy A. Conter ) and dog show vendor gone EBAY. Shop my ebay store, CAC Designs, to see other dog and sighthound jewelry and artwork.....
We offer combined shipping fees on items that fit safely in the same box. The shipping fee covers: box or padded envelope (for jewelry sales), packing material, postage, insurance, and time to go to the post office (handling).
Although I, Cindy A. Conter am now known for my pewter jewelry creations and beautiful and sometimes unusual paintings, I began my canine art career in the early 70's doing mostly original clay sculptures and original lost wax jewelry of sighthounds. When I would attend dog shows with my salukis, I'd often times set up a booth to sell my art. The Creations and Collectables of Cindy A. Conter, a dog show vendor and artist gone Ebay. Check out my

    Makes a great gift!
Very few of these have EVER been made!  I am making more dogs and animals in this format, and you might consider getting more.  Please let me know if you are looking for an animal or dog that I have not yet made!  I am the ONLY one who makes these.
Any of these items are also available with a coppery brown patina, or with nickel plating.  There is a
small fee for adding a patina and an additional charge for nickel plating.
Nickel plating takes additional time as the pieces have to be sent out for plating.  Please contact me for charges.
